Tokai HR – The Next Generation Single Vision Lens

Tokai Optical has introduced the next generation Single Vision HR – High Resolution.

The lens was created under the development theme “Comfortable lens with a clear vision in all directions”.

In the course of the development of the lens, Tokai Optical focused our attention on light transmission to the Fovea Centralis, which is a small pit located in the macula that provides the sharpest visual acuity needed for detailed tasks.

Tokai High-Reso-Tech lens design for HR increases the clear field range by 37% in comparison to the standard free-form aspheric lens design.

Tokai HR provides two types of design to suit Distance and Near tasks and is also available in the world’s thinnest plastic lens 1.76 material.
