Important Update on Code, Description and Price Modifications in the July Printed Eyetalk Reference Guide

Dear Eyetalk Subscribers,

We want to inform you of an important update regarding the data codes, descriptions and suggested retail pricing information in the printed Eyetalk Reference Guide, July 2024 edition. A modification was required by EssilorLuxottica on their Transitions Generation S lenses after the guide was printed. As a result, there is a price and information discrepancy between the print and soon-to-be-available revised July eyetalk digital version.

What You Need to Know

Digital Subscribers:

A new complete Eyetalk digital data file is being released 12 August for those wishing to update their data again and obtain all the new Essilor, OSA and Nikon Transitions Generation S lenses.

• The digital version of the guide has been updated with the latest Essilor, OSA and Nikon Transitions Generation S data changes and revised wholesale pricing which has resulted in changed descriptions, codes  and the eyetalk generated suggested retail prices. This is why a new eyetalk digital file is needing to be provided and will be released 12 August 2024.

• Please refer to this revised digital version for the up-to-date EyeTalk suggested retail prices, data codes and descriptions when placing orders.

Print Only Subscribers:

• The suggested retail prices and some data codes and descriptions of Essilor, OSA and Nikon Transition Generation S lenses listed in your EyeTalk Reference Guide, July 2024 edition are no longer accurate plus are not aligned with the upcoming eyetalk digital version. This is due to EssilorLuxottica providing revised wholesale pricing and descriptions which has altered descriptions, codes  and the eyetalk generated suggested retail prices in Eyetalk’s resources for a large volume of lenses.

• We are hereby providing an excel spreadsheet to ensure you have the most up-to-date information for Essilor, OSA and Nikon Transition Generation S lenses on hand. The Find function will assist you to quickly find the data you require.

  Effective Date

  These changes are effective as of 12 August 2024. We advise all subscribers to verify lens data from here onwards to avoid any discrepancies.

  We have worked diligently to process and communicate these EssilorLuxottica changes to you as promptly as possible to minimise any disruption however we appreciate that not having all the information you need in the one printed guide is not optimal.
