FERRAGAMO EYEWEAR FALL/WINTER 2023 COLLECTION
The new Ferragamo Eyewear collection for Fall/Winter 2023 combines aesthetic and technicality in the reinvention of classic shapes, enveloping frames and thin silhouettes embellished with the brand’s iconic codes. Amongst them is the evolution of the Gancini detail, now rendered as a functional and decorative element with a sculptural three-dimensional prism effect. The seasonal line-up reflects the vision of creative director Maximilian Davis and his interpretation of the brand’s heritage, which is fully expressed in the New Renaissance advertising campaign, inspired by the House’s bond with the city of Florence and by the value of an endless tradition that is reinvented with a contemporary twist through the talent and sensibility of the Ferragamo community.
The concept of timeless elegance is explored with a luxurious and audacious approach: the glamour of the past eras meets innovation and experimentation, creativity and rigour, setting the tone for a curated selection of frames unveiling new proportions, exclusive finishes and distinctive accents.
The Gancini detail is integrated into the hinge of the acetate frames, featuring a metal plaque engraved with the new Ferragamo logo and a milled extruded cylinder that recreates the form of the emblematic motif on the end pieces.
The season’s highlights include the acetate silhouettes in solid or transparent colours, as well as the frames with shiny and matte finishes, all enhanced with the new Ferragamo logo engraved on the temples as a signature of style in continuous evolution.
